Hallo Gold-Cracks,

vielleicht kann mir hier mal jemand helfen etwas zu verstehen. In CBS-Marketwatch von heute...

Frage, wer will was mit wem nicht mehr machen & vor allem warum und was hat das für einen effekt auf den Goldpreis...?
Ich verstehe es nicht. Vielleicht kann es mir jemand erklären.

Traders also hinted that the market was speculating on the effects of Indian banks blocking cheques from some bullion dealer
clients.

Three leading Indian state-run banks in Gujarat stopped accepting cheques from the region's cooperative banks and cut down
on transactions with bullion dealer clients of those banks.

Some analysts said this was a kneejerk reaction to Indian media reports last month that a local bullion firm had got into financial difficulties and failed to return gold to the market.

While the situation will probably have some effect on liquidity, analysts said it would be the local dealers who suffered most.

"It's going to make things a little bit more difficult but I don't think anything will kill the appetite for gold (in India)," said Afshin
