Zum Spillover-Effekt meinte Friedman doch das:

"Now, if there's any country in
which the deflation scenario is possible, it's Japan right now.

FRIEDMAN Of course, but it's not a major spillover. And I don't think it'll
happen in Japan."

Und der MOT-Chef sagt das:

"We see a continuing downturn in the U.S. economy beginning to spill over to the rest of the world...."

Besten Dank für Dein aufmerksames Lektorieren. Jetzt wissen wir also auch über den Spillover bestens Bescheid. Entweder Friedman hat sich geirrt (Australien hat der japanische Spillover schon voll erwischt, u.a.) oder der MOT-Chef verzapft dummes Zeugs.

Und was lernen wir daraus? Oder wie oder was?

Und jetzt "the rest of the world" - na, bravo!
