Hi Baldur,

ich - als Mitglied im Club zur Förderung der deutlichen Sprache e.V. - stand auch mal an, aus Kanada kommend. Jetzt O-Ton (ich hatte ein J-Visum; J für Journalisten):

"What's the purpose of your visit to the United States?"

"Sir, it's very simple. I want to shoot your President."

Mein Freund DJ (Cash Medien) kann's bestätigen.

Da war vielleicht was los! Aber ich liess dann gleich das Tonband mitlaufen (Freedom of the Press) und dann zogen die wieder alles ein.

Inzwischen sind solche Drohungen strafbewehrt. 25 Jahre sag' ich mal. Tja, man hat halt schon manches erlebt.
