Besitze persönlich noch keine Immobilie(n) in South Africa!
Ziehe es allerdings in Betracht, nach der nächsten SA Wahl, ANC
wahrscheinlich und letztendelich unter der 66.6666% Marke, auch hier
holt die Realität die Illusion ein!
Du schreibst in Plural, meinst Du evt. Investement´s in Appartments?
Würde ich abraten!
Persönlich bin ich SA, in Aktien bzw. Options -Derivaten ( zur Zeit)investiert.
Noch existiere ich in Europa, mit der Option jederzeit, die Reißleine
zu ziehen.
Hier nachfolgend übrigens der Beitrag bzg.der Zunahme der Immobilien Käufe
in SA, unverkennbar auch das Interesse aus GB, die"ex" Kolonialmacht!
Bedingt u.a. auch durch das"schwächelnde Pound", na ja, ein kleiner Scherz
zum"Schluß" habe ich mir noch erlaubt.

Foreign demand for residential properties escalates

Durban - Property companies are reporting a significant upsurge in foreign investment in residences, with substantial foreign currency and tourism spin-offs for the country.
However, there has not been a parallel increase in foreign interest in commercial and industrial properties.
Anthony Stroebel, the marketing director for Pam Golding Property, said yesterday that 10 to 12 percent of its national residential property sales over the past year had been to foreign investors, compared with about 8 percent the previous year.
Most of these had been in the Western Cape, where the group's sales to overseas investors had climbed 26 percent against the region's overall 21 percent increase.
Pam Golding said its sales to foreign investors had also increased in Gauteng, where big foreign corporates were buying previously rented properties.
Stroebel attributed the substantial increase in sales to foreign investors to the group's aggressive international marketing strategy.
Ian Slot, the chairman of Seeff's Western Cape Licensee Committee, said interest from overseas investors had remained consistent.
"Migrant business people spend several months a year in South Africa because of its counter-cyclical seasons and good infrastructure."
Lew Geffen, the chief executive of Lew Geffen International, said foreign demand had increased since the company became an affiliate of London-based Sotheby's International Realty.
"British and European investors have been keen to invest in property".
Lew Geffen's residential property sales to international investors had increased 15 to 20 percent over the past year, with the percentage of total sales growing from 3 to 10 percent.
Geffen forecast international sales would grow by about 20 percent a year for the next three years.
Keith Wakefield, the chief executive of Wakefields, said an Internet-based marketing initiative had attracted a noticeable increase in foreign buyer interest in KwaZulu Natal, but that sales to this sector represented less than 1 percent of the total.
