MEXICO CITY, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Grupo Mexico, the world's No. 3 copper producer, became the second Mexican company since the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States to say it will be unable to meet its debt obligations because of market turmoil.

BHP Billiton, a mining giant, also just announced a 170,000 tonne copper production cutback.
