Commitments of traders:
The US Commodities and Futures Commission released data last Friday showing trader positions on US exchanges
as of December 4 th. Non-commercial traders significantly increased their short on crude oil by 11.3 million barrels
(mb), taking the short position up to 57.5 mb. This increase in the next short was the result of a 4.7 mb reduction in
long positions and a 6.6 mb increase in short positions.
