THE ROAD TO WAR

Our History leads us to believe that the German people had an inborn irrational hatred of Jews and were only waiting for someone like Hitler to come along and allow them to express it. Nothing could be further from the truth. For many years, when Germany was still a Monarchy the Jews integrated very well into German Society and many prospered and contributed much towards the country. Because of this many thousands of Jews who were being persecuted in other European countries such as Russia and Poland fled to Germany looking for peace & safety. For almost seventy years we have been told how the Germans suddenly contracted a form of madness and started hating and murdering Jews.
