Ich denke, damit spricht er einen Sachverhalt an, den wir alle hier noch viel zu wenig beachten. Die Macht ist viel brutaler, als wir denken - damit hat dottore wohl recht.
Dollar und Euro sind beide fiat money, also legales Falschgeld. Wer dieses Geld erzeugen kann, verschafft sich Macht. Das führt notwendig zu einem Machtkampf zwischen Dollar und Euro, den wir als Europäer wahrscheinlich noch viel zu naiv betrachten (Währungskonkurrenz und so).

Ich füge hier mal einen Beitrag an, den ich mir mal gespeichert hatte, weil er genau diesen Sachverhalt sehr grell beleuchtet.

It would seem that war between America vs. France & Germany in Indonesia is more likely to follow America’s war against France & Germany in Iraq than is war against Syria, and for the exact same reason that America had no choice but to defend the Dollar in Iraq against the EUro which the French & Germans in their blind hatred of all things Anglo Saxon / American and their global economic illiteracy had convinced the poor Iraqis to convert from Petro Dollars to EUro which is why the EUro rose a little bit, leaving America with NO CHOICE but to go to war in defence of the Dollar.
It is quite clear that America’s 4.6 TRILLION Dollar deficit is easily sustained; whilst everyone on the planet buys and sells Dollars to buy and sell oil but the moment that a politically constructed currency, such as the EUro, is taken seriously as a competitor, despite the FACT that it is nothing more than a politically constructed concept, which both France & Germany have openly stated is merely there to RIVAL the Dollar and which has no economic grounding and requires a centralised taxation system for all member states foolish enough to use it, which is neither agreed nor in place - THEN America MUST go towar to defend the Dollar, as they have in Iraq,
Arrogance and economic illiteracy that is willing to risk killing the mouse which drives the global economic mouse wheel could only come from states like Germany & France with their lack of understanding of global economics. It must be remembered that neither France nor Germany have had meaningful long term economic relations on a global basis EVER and have never displayed even an attempt at colonial responsibility.
Imagine the MILLIONS of people who could well die if the global economic wheel stopped turning because France & Germany in their blind hatred and stunning arrogance tried to trick countries like Iraq, Indonesia, North Korea, China & Iran into taking their play money more seriously than the Dollar and thus risked the collapse of confidence that would inevitably follow and the resultant collapse of the American economy.
IF that was allowed to happen the peoples of EUrope could find themselves starving as few are left with the ability to feed themselves as a result of the CAP policy which has destroyed so much of agriculture in the EU Soviet.
This is quite obviously the reason for the rise in value of the EUro as the currency of no trading or political block on the planet rises in value whilst its economic output falls and its unemployment rises!
We must give thanks that America is prepared to go to war to defend the Dollar and ensure the EUro never kills the mouse in the economic mouse wheel.
