Just can't understand that with all those GENIUSES that the Europeans keep voting into power Italy has been in a recession for at least a month, Germany has just announced it has gone into a recession, France has announced zero growth with nearly 10% unemployment, meanwhile USA keeps chugging along with productivity growth of 2.4%, GDP growth of alomost 3% this year (Euro area approx 0.4%), forecast next year is USA 3.4% GDP growth, Euro 1.7%. USA unemployment 1/2 or 2/3rds that of Europe. Berlusconi compare German MEP with Nazi concentration camp guards, Schroeder cancels his Italian holiday, French desecrate British war graves.

Oh! if only we foolish Americans would vote for geniuses like our European cousins, maybe we would be even MORE prosperous and MORE powerful and MORE influential in the world than we are.
