"1. I would like to be able to lay all my cards on the table face up before anyone starts with questions. This way some questions that might be asked, may have an answer in a later post. So let me finish before you start with your cross examination.

2. Any questions relating to the Elliott Wave Theory, must relate to the NYSE, S&P 500, or the OEX. I think this is more than fair, as we are talking about the major stock indexes, and won't get carried away with potential counts that may not fit all the indexes. I will tell you right now, that I am going to take the stand that the Oct 1998 low, that tested the Oct 1997 low, was a wave 4 and that the subsequent rally cannot be anything but a diagonal triangle. I don't care about seeing a count with a wave 2 that lasted 2 weeks and a wave 4 that lasts 13 weeks. We will use Elliot Wave rules hard and fast.

3. I would appreciate you taking your time before you throw out anything, and make sure that you give careful consideration to your point before you make it. This way we can eliminate some questions or points that aren't necessary.

4. I'm well equiped with the knowledge to answer almost all concievable questions, and would like to address them myself. If I need help I will ask for it. After I answer the question, then if others desire to add any thing I may have missed, BANG AWAY.

5. I welcome any and all market technicians, letter writers or gurus, to challenge my findings.

6. No kicking, biting, hitting below the belt, spitting, or foul language will be tolerated.

7.If everyone understands the rules, then were getting prepared to post. The posts will all be done Saturday by about 3:00 PM
easter standard time, if not before.

8. Get on your thinking cap, and let's try to ask only pertinent questions to save time and really hit the important points. I'd rather not get into any discussions of politics, war, or anything not relating to good technical or cyclical analysis. If you want to do that, let's save it for after this weekend, or maybe Sunday night, after you have had a chance to question the facts I'm going to lay out.

9. I hope these rules are acceptable to all, as I believe they are more than fair.
